We are seeking a passionate and progressive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Birch Veterinary Centre on a full-time basis.

You'll be part of a close-knit, experienced team who work collaboratively to provide a smooth and positive experience for both patients and clients. This is a hands-on nursing position within a well-established first opinion environment, where no two days are the same.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You'll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

* 40 hours per week over 4 days

* Part-time applications will be considered over 3 days

* 1 in 5 Saturday rota, working 9:00am to 2:00pm

* No out-of-hours requirements

General Responsibilities

* Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload

* Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing

* Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery

* Run nurse consultations and preventative healthcare clinics

We're looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You'll bring:

* Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS

* Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues

* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
