What we are looking for

We are looking for a proactive and collaborative professional with experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development and delivering projects within complex environments. You will be confident analysing information from diverse sources and translating it into clear, actionable insights, while building effective relationships with senior leaders and a wide range of stakeholders. Strong communication, organisational and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently. Experience working in higher education, research or academic settings, proficiency with digital information management tools, and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion would be highly valued.

About the role

Ready to influence the future of security, privacy, identity and trust? Join SPRITE+ as a Business Engagement and Intelligence Officer and play a pivotal role in connecting academia, industry, government and the third sector to drive innovation and impact across the digital trust landscape.

What you would be doing

As the Business Engagement and Intelligence Officer, you will play a central role in delivering the SPRITE+ Engagement Strategy, building and strengthening relationships across academia, industry, government and civil society. You will identify emerging trends and priorities within the security, privacy, identity and trust landscape, gather and analyse intelligence from a range of sources, and translate insights into high-quality reports that inform strategic decision-making. You will also support stakeholder engagement activities, coordinate information and reporting, and help deliver events, conferences and knowledge-exchange initiatives that maximise the impact and reach of the SPRITE+ network.

Further information

This is a Part Time, Fixed Term position (0.8 FTE/28 hours a week) based at the South Kensington Campus.

This could be a secondment opportunity for internal candidates.
