Duties and responsibilities related to the Valet Attendant role

· Provide a professional and efficient valet service, ensuring all guest garments are handled with the utmost care and attention.

· Receive, record, track, and return guest laundry and dry-cleaning items accurately and within agreed timelines.

· Carry out alterations, repairs, and tailoring work on guest garments and colleague uniforms to a high standard.

· Inspect garments for damage or discrepancies and communicate findings to guests and management before processing.

· Deliver guest clothing and valet requests promptly while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

· Maintain the valet area, equipment, and workstations in a clean, organised, and safe condition at all times.

· Ensure all records, logs, and documentation relating to laundry, dry cleaning, and tailoring services are completed accurately.

· Adhere to hotel policies, health and safety procedures, and service standards while supporting guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

About you

We are looking for a detail-oriented and service-focused individual with experience in garment care, tailoring, sewing, or valet services. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience within a luxury hotel, hospitality, laundry, or tailoring environment would be highly advantageous. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service are essential for success in this role.
