The role
We're looking for a Patient Liaison Officer to join our team at The Lister Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting patients at the start of their healthcare journey, ensuring they receive a professional, compassionate and seamless experience from their initial enquiry through to their appointment.
As a Patient Liaison Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective patients, providing excellent customer service and helping coordinate their journey through the clinic. Working closely with clinical and administrative teams, you'll ensure all enquiries are managed efficiently and patients receive the highest standard of care and support.
Above all else, we're committed to the care and improvement of human life. It's this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor, we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Others may think this is just a role in administration, but to us, you'll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.
What you'll do
- Act as the first point of contact for patient enquiries via phone, email and online platforms
- Manage appointment bookings and support patients throughout their journey
- Liaise with internal teams to coordinate appointments and ensure a seamless experience
- Maintain accurate patient records and administrative documentation
- Provide outstanding customer service and build positive relationships with patients

Being part of a large multisite healthcare organisation means you'll have access to excellent career development opportunities, training programmes and a supportive working environment that prioritises your wellbeing.
As a Patient Liaison Officer, you'll be eligible for:
- 25 days holiday each year (plus bank holidays), increasing with service
- Private Healthcare Insurance
- Private pension contribution
