Home Admissions Assistant

We are looking for a Home Admissions Assistant to join the team at Alton Place. You'll play a key part in growing occupancy, giving residents and their families a warm welcome, and raising the home's profile in the local community.

Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Sales Director and Home Manager, you will:

• Drive occupancy: respond to enquiries by phone, email, in person and through our CRM, manage the enquiries pipeline, and help the home meet and exceed its occupancy goals.
• Make every move-in feel right: build trusting relationships with prospective residents and their families, support the move-in process alongside our care teams, and visit each new resident within 24 hours, at one week and at four weeks to make sure they feel happy, safe and comfortable.
• Champion the home in the community: plan and host events, network with local stakeholders, and deliver cost-effective marketing and promotional activity.
• Keep growing: take part in sales training, team meetings and your own personal development.

Essential:

• Proven sales and marketing experience with results to show for it
• Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the health and social care sector
• Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and other sales and marketing tools
• A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends

Desirable:

• Experience delivering high-quality, relationship-centred care
• Previous experience in a large social care setting
• Leadership and management skills
• A marketing or sales degree, or equivalent experience
