Transport Co-ordinator

Here at GXO, we are looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our team in Crewe (CW2 5UB), working on our TJX contract. In this role you will supports the day-to-day running of transport activities, ensuring effective communication, operational compliance, and service delivery across the TJX transport operation. Working closely with the Transport Team Managers and wider transport team, the role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation.

• Support the day-to-day running of transport operations across stores, outside storage and vendor operations
• Managing transport planning related issues with a solution-based attitude
• Liaising directly with stores to communicate delivery amendments
• Liaising with drivers for smooth movement of goods and materials
• Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods

You will be working 42 hours per week, on a day shift pattern working on a '4 on, 4 off' shift between the hours of 18:00 - 06:00.

• Previous experience in a fast-pased transport environment
• Understanding of transport compliance, working time and EU driving hours
• Administrative experience preferably within a logistics environment
• Computer literate, good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong communicator, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
• Be able to work cohesively and well with others
