Pay & benefits

What you'll get

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.

The role

Do you thrive in environments where safety truly comes first? Are you motivated by making a tangible impact on large‑scale, critical infrastructure? Ready to play a key role in one of the UK's most significant engineering projects?

At Hinkley Point C, we're helping to build Britain's first new nuclear power station in a generation-providing zero‑carbon electricity for around six million homes. As a Tier One partner, GXO delivers essential warehousing and transport services to support the project.

Here at GXO, we're looking for a Health & Safety Advisor at our Brockworth site to champion safety standards, drive a proactive safety culture, and support our teams across a complex and highly regulated environment.

What you'll do

  • Developing, leading and maintaining Management Plans, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
  • Delivering and recording colleague safety training while identifying and escalating any gaps
  • Inputting, analysing and reporting Health, Safety and Environment data into both GXO and Client systems
  • Chairing and presenting at HSE meetings, ensuring actions are tracked, closed and escalated where required
  • Managing contractors end‑to‑end-from permit checks and inductions to compliance, pass control and exit requirements

How you'll work

This is a full-time permanent position. You'll be working Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am to 4pm. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!
