The role
About the role
This is a new and exciting role created through the National Rough Sleeping Programme, designed to strengthen accommodation pathways and improve move-on outcomes for people experiencing homelessness. The post holder will lead oversight of the organisation's internal accommodation pathway, ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred support throughout their journey. The role will also provide dedicated move-on coordination and bespoke support across both commissioned and non-commissioned supported accommodation services, working closely with housing providers, support agencies and local authority partners to help individuals secure and sustain long-term accommodation and achieve independence.
The role will play a key part in ensuring individuals are accommodated in the most appropriate setting for their needs and are supported to move through accommodation pathways in a timely and coordinated way. By working closely with providers and partners, the postholder will identify and address system bottlenecks, improve the flow through supported accommodation services, and maximise the use of accommodation across the borough.
Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
