Skills

The role

At Geely, our story began in 1986 with a simple but powerful idea, an idea that has driven us to become one of the world's most forward-thinking automotive groups. For nearly three decades, we've been redefining mobility through our iconic global brands, including Geely Auto, Volvo Cars, Polestar, Lotus, Zeekr, Lynk & Co, the London Electric Vehicle Company, Farizon, and more. We are Geely Auto UK, the UK arm of Geely Auto Group. Having entered the market in 2025 with our first electric SUV, the Geely EX5, we're continuing to grow rapidly as we build a nationwide dealer and service network.

Job purpose

Following Geely Auto's launch into the UK market in October 2025, we are expanding our Dealer Development field team to support the growth and ongoing management of our rapidly developing Dealer Network.

Reporting to the Head of Regional Dealer Development, the Regional Dealer Development Manager (Scotland and Northern Ireland) will support the prospecting and appointment of high-quality dealers in line with the defined network strategy.

Field-based position: Candidates based in Scotland and Northern Ireland are encouraged to apply.

Main responsibilities

Network Development

  • Prospect and evaluate new or existing dealer partners to deliver on the ideal network plan in line with the company's growth strategy, partner requirements, and brand standards.

  • Coordinate the franchise application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner for committee approval.

  • Lead the cross-functional onboarding process for new dealers from franchise approval through to site launch, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and key milestones are delivered on time.

  • Ensure dealer compliance with brand standards and support implementation of the new Corporate Identity by providing feedback on required improvements and reporting on upgrade timelines.

  • Effectively manage all franchising activities, including appointments, changes of ownership, relocations and terminations as required.

  • Collaborate with other Regional Dealer Development Managers and the central Network Development team to ensure consistency and alignment across the UK.

Network Performance

  • Maintain accurate reporting on network status, dealer performance, onboarding progress, and site development pipeline within the assigned region.

  • Conduct regular dealer meetings to engage and report on performance in relation to defined scorecard KPIs.

  • Where performance is not in line with expectations, set clear objectives for improvement and support the dealer in achieving those objectives in collaboration with other Geely Auto UK functional teams.

  • Monitor and maintain dealer P&L performance.

  • Support the sales targeting process with the Regional Sales Manager.
