Interim Group Finance Director

Finatal are seeking a technically strong Group Finance Director to join a complex international business as the No.1 in Finance, leading the organisation through a period of change. Backed by a well-known mid-market private equity fund, the business is EBITDA positive but requires an experienced finance leader with strong cashflow management expertise to support it over the next 6-12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group finance function and act as the key financial partner to the CEO.
• Own cashflow, liquidity and working capital, maintaining tight control over short and medium-term cash forecasting.
• Oversee international reporting, consolidations, statutory accounts and audit.
• Manage transfer pricing, intercompany arrangements and cross-border transactions.
• Strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and Group-level financial planning.
• Manage and develop the finance team.

Candidate profile

• Qualified accountant, ideally ACA or equivalent.
• Strong technical accounting background within a complex, international, multi-entity business.
• Significant experience managing cashflow and liquidity in a tightly controlled environment.
• Strong knowledge of transfer pricing and international finance structures.
• Comfortable operating as a hands-on No.1, balancing technical detail with senior-level leadership.
