We have an exciting opportunity for a Days Hub Security Officer to join our team at Barnsley Hub, working 07:00-19:00 on a 4 on, 4 off rota.

As a Hub Security Officer, you'll be responsible for helping to protect the site, our people and our parcels. Working closely with the Hub and Loss Prevention teams, you'll help deter and identify potential security risks, reduce losses and ensure the correct security procedures are followed across the site.

What you'll be doing

Managing site access controls, including visitors and contractors.

Carrying out regular site patrols and identifying and reporting potential security risks.

Completing security checks at the outbound gatehouse.

Supporting processes designed to safeguard parcels, including high-value goods.

Working closely with the Hub Loss Prevention team to help prevent and investigate loss, theft and parcel-related incidents.

Ensuring all security activity and incidents are accurately recorded in line with company procedures.

Identifying and reporting Health & Safety concerns in accordance with company guidelines.

Supporting the reduction of parcel damage, mishandling and loss across the operation.

Promoting a culture where parcels are handled safely and with care.
