We're looking for an EV Sales Specialist to drive profitable growth across Drax's EV charging business. You'll generate and convert qualified opportunities, build strong customer relationships and deliver sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and commercial excellence.

This is a field-based, flexible role where you'll manage the end-to-end B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to solution development, negotiation and conversion.

You'll represent Drax in customer meetings, tenders, industry events and wider market engagement, helping position us as a credible EV charging partner.

About the role:
As an EV Sales Specialist, you'll identify and qualify target customers, develop commercially viable opportunities and convert tailored EV charging solutions.

You'll build trusted relationships with fleet, facilities, procurement, energy and senior stakeholders, using customer insight and commercial judgement to remove barriers, progress decisions and secure profitable outcomes.

Key accountabilities include:

• Prospecting and qualifying target EV charging customers to build a strong, prioritised pipeline aligned with Drax's proposition, target sectors and sales plan.
• Selling and converting qualified EV charging solutions, delivering purchase orders, revenue and gross margin with clear customer value and commercial discipline.
• Managing sales targets, KPIs, CRM data and forecasts accurately, maintaining visibility of pipeline movement, conversion and margin.
• Collaborating with Sales Support, Assets, Commercial and Product teams to deliver accurate proposals, pricing, designs and effective handovers.

Who we're looking for:

• Proven B2B sales experience in EV charging, energy, fleet, infrastructure, construction, technology or a related consultative sales environment.
• Experience across the end-to-end B2B sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution development, commercial negotiation, pipeline management and conversion.
• A demonstrable record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, including revenue, margin, pipeline generation and customer conversion measures.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to qualify opportunities, manage forecast confidence, protect margin and prioritise effort against likely value and conversion.
• The confidence and ability to build relationships with a range of customers and internal stakeholders, communicate value clearly and influence decisions.
