The role
- Support Worker
- Full time - 37.5 hours per week
- Wallington, Sutton (South London/Surrey)
- £14.59 per hour
We're looking for a resilient, compassionate and values-driven full-time Support Worker to join our specialist forensic support home in Wallington. In this role, you'll provide dedicated 1:1 support to a gentleman in his 60s with learning disabilities and a forensic history. He enjoys being active, spending time in the community and exploring London, and you'll play a key part in helping him live a fulfilling and independent life. Through consistent, person-centred support, you'll build a positive relationship with him, encouraging independence, developing daily living skills, supporting community involvement and helping him achieve his personal goals.
As part of a specialist team, you'll follow support plans and risk management strategies while working collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to provide high-quality, tailored support. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, reliable and committed to making a genuine difference in someone's life.
This home provides 24-hour support, and full-time colleagues work a rota that includes long days, sleep-ins and morning support shifts. Due to the specialist nature of the home, successful applicants must be able to attend mandatory training, including a forensic induction, service-specific training, shadow shifts and competency assessments. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

Previous experience as a Support Worker is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.
