We're looking for a female Support Worker to join our team in Garboldisham, on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. This role is to support a friendly and sociable woman in her 30s to live a fulfilling and independent life.

This is a part-time role (22 hours per week), working two waking night shifts per week from 9pm to 8am. You will be working alone in the person's home, providing reassurance and support throughout the night. Your role will involve monitoring and supporting her sleep system, assisting with repositioning, carrying out regular wellbeing checks, providing personal care when required, and maintaining awareness of her epilepsy. Above all, you'll help ensure she remains safe, comfortable, and well supported throughout the night.

The person you will be supporting enjoys spending time with family and making the most of life. She loves cooking and baking, particularly chocolate treats, as well as crafts, swimming, bowling, listening to Heart FM, and socialising. She understands everything that is said to her and values people who are kind, patient, and respectful.

About You

You are caring, patient, dependable, and comfortable working independently during waking night shifts. You'll be a good listener with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting people to live the lives they choose. Previous care experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn new skills and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

Due to the location of the home and the lack of public transport during shift times, you must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
