Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors, local authorities and clients, you'll drive productivity, compliance and customer satisfaction while ensuring successful delivery across multiple civils workstreams.

What you'll do

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of civils infrastructure projects across the East Midlands.

  • Oversee excavation, duct installation, chamber construction, reinstatement and associated streetworks activities.
  • Drive performance against programme, operational, quality and commercial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with NRSWA requirements, permit conditions, traffic management regulations and SSHEQ standards.
  • Monitor resource allocation, productivity and cost performance across multiple projects.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, local authorities, highways authorities and key operational stakeholders.
  • Identify delivery risks, resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support, coach and develop operational teams to achieve high performance and strong safety standards.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience managing civils, utilities, highways, telecoms or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership experience within a field-based construction or civils environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of streetworks, excavation, reinstatement, permitting and traffic management requirements.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, direct labour and multiple operational workstreams.
  • Understanding of duct installation, chamber construction and underground utility infrastructure.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, performance and delivery targets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
