Streetscene Operative (Cleansing)

We are looking for a number of Streetscene Operatives to join our borough-based cleansing teams. In this role, you will be working all around the borough in an extremely varied role, looking after the borough's community spaces, parks, and streets. You will be ensuring that they are in perfect condition for the residents, wider community, and visitors to the borough.

• You will get involved with street cleansing tasks such as removal of fly tipping and daily cleansing of local areas.
• To complete daily schedules utilising digital platforms.
• Always maintaining health and safety protocols whilst working
• Operate cleansing tools and vehicles
• Responding to minor emergencies such as flooding, obstructions, and damaged street furniture.

Location: Moss Side Depot, Leyland

Contract: Full time (36.25 hours per week) / Fixed Term (12 months)

• You will be operating various vehicles in this role, so you will need to have a valid clean driving license
