The role

Accounts Receivable Manager - Finance Transformation

We are working with a fast growing, Private Equity backed business looking to appoint an Accounts Receivable Manager to play a key role in its ongoing finance transformation.

The business is experiencing significant growth through acquisitions, creating an exciting opportunity for someone who can balance strong operational AR management with driving improvements across systems, processes and controls.

A major focus of the role will be supporting the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, helping to shape and embed a more scalable, consistent and efficient AR function as the business continues to expand.

This is not simply a BAU management position. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of the operation but equally has the experience and appetite to lead change.

What you'll do

  • Take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring effective day-to-day operations, credit control, cash collection and debtor management.
  • Play a leading role in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, supporting system design, process mapping, testing and implementation.
  • Review and standardise AR processes across the business, particularly as newly acquired entities are integrated.
  • Drive improvements around billing, cash allocation, collections, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Establish consistent processes, controls and KPIs to support a growing and increasingly complex finance function.
  • Lead, develop and support a growing AR team with a mixture of experience and seniority.
  • Work closely with senior finance stakeholders and wider business teams to improve working capital performance.
  • Support the integration of acquired businesses, ensuring finance processes and systems are aligned.

How you'll work

Contract Duration: 6 Months Rolling

Location: Remote (with occasional travel)

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business at a particularly exciting stage of its growth. With continued acquisitions, significant investment in systems and a growing finance team, the successful candidate will have genuine scope to shape how the AR function operates going forward.
