Cafe Manager

• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, food outlet or similar hospitality environment
• Previous experience supervising or managing a small team
• A friendly and approachable manner with a strong focus on customer service
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage a busy shift
• Confidence supporting, training and motivating a team
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety
• Comfortable with basic administration, tills and computer systems
• A practical, hands-on approach
• Reliable and able to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the café

You don't need to come from a large restaurant or high-volume hospitality operation. We're looking for someone who enjoys café-style service, is confident leading a team and takes pride in creating a great customer experience.

We are looking for a Café Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of Market Kitchen at Frosts Woburn, ensuring our customers receive a friendly, efficient service and that the café is well organised and running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting their team and getting involved in the day-to-day operation.

As Café Manager, you will:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of Market Kitchen
• Lead and support the café team throughout each shift
• Make sure customers receive friendly, welcoming and efficient service
• Support the team with food preparation, service and general café duties when required
• Organise rotas and manage staffing levels to meet the needs of the business
• Train, coach and support team members to maintain good standards
• Monitor stock levels and help manage ordering and wastage
• Follow food safety, health and safety and other company procedures
• Complete daily checks and administration accurately
• Deal with customer queries and resolve any issues in a professional manner
• Work closely with the wider centre team to ensure the café runs smoothly

You will be a hands-on manager who is comfortable leading from the front, supporting the team during busy periods and making sure everything is in place for a smooth service.

• Hours: 40 hours per week - no evenings or late nights
