The Alliance is a ground-breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and eight industry-leading partners: Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO. And together, we deliver around 40% of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.

  • Provide accurate live forecasting, taking account of the project programme and reporting in accordance with the relevant WBS/CBS.
  • Ensure actual costs are properly monitored and assessed against the baseline estimate, challenging any variance to plan.
  • Provide reports on actual costs versus estimate, identifying the reasons for any variance and the required resolution.
  • Ensure the Alliance contract is properly administered.
  • Oversee the timely issue of early warnings and advise the IPL on all matters relating to compliance.
  • Ensure proper records are maintained so financial information is readily available for audits and cost assurance.
  • Ensure final accounts are prepared accurately and on time.
  • Ensure mitigation plans are in place and implemented.
  • Proactively manage opportunities, including identifying and implementing plans to realise them.
  • Monitor the progress of identified efficiencies and report any variance to plan to the IPL.
  • Report any withheld, disputed or disallowed costs to the IPL.
  • Lead and manage a small team.
  • Mentor and develop individual team members.
