Own the global procurement operations process framework, acting as the strategic architect and guardian of end-to-end process design, documentation, performance and governance. The role balances compliance with user experience, supports selection and deployment of the global S2P technology stack, and drives improvement across a diverse global business.
What you'll be doing
- Own, document and maintain the global Golden Map for procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier registration, contract management and requisition-to-PO activity.
- Lead and manage teams supporting Procurement Analysts and data/reporting performance.
- Lead evaluation, RFP process and selection of procurement software solutions.
- Serve as functional lead for technology deployments, aligning configuration with defined process requirements.
- Act as primary point of contact for internal and external audits, embedding relevant controls directly into the workflow.
- Monitor process performance health to identify non-compliant spend, bottlenecks and end user training needs
- Define and monitor critical success metrics, including adoption, approval cycle times, contract compliance, spend leakage and discount capture.
- Develop global end-user training and change communications to support adoption across different user personas.
- Use voice-of-the-customer input and user experience feedback to improve the procurement process for business users.
- Manage procurement relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to wider procurement communications.
Who we're looking for
- Procurement Operations ownership or transformation leadership experience, including management of large-scale operations and teams.
- Proven ability to lead or support implementation of a major procurement platform such as Coupa, Ariba, Jaggaer or Oracle.
- Stakeholder management capability with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Analytical capability using data visualisation and process mining tools such as Celonis or Power BI.
- Ability to balance compliance, controls, technology enablement and user experience in a global process environment.
- Ability to lead communication, training and change activity for process and system change.
