The role
Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading Principal Contractor in the Energy sector to recruit a HSE Advisor for its London site.
If you're an experienced HSE Advisor with experience in Energy from Waste and want to join a new-build plant, submit your CV to apply today.
What you'll do
Supporting HSE Manager on site you will:
- Be a QH&S ambassador and coach, support and train project staff on positive H&S actions, behaviours and compliance.
- Manage the compliance of the H&S requirements on field.
- Review the Risk Assessments included in the Method Statements of the subcontractors.
- Assist the Project and Construction Managers in H&S matters.
- Manage H&S training needs with the HSE Manager.
- Controlling site H&S systems and have regular discussions on site about H&S performance with Site Managers and Contract Managers.
- Conduct regular assessments of construction sites and inform site management of unsafe practices and unsafe conditions.
