F1 Evolution plays a unique role within the wider F1 environment, supporting the preparation, testing, and operation of previous and heritage F1 cars, alongside demonstration and event programmes. As Team Coordinator, you will play a central role in the planning, coordination, and operational delivery of F1 Evolution events, including Testing of Previous Cars (TPC), Testing of Heritage Cars (THC), and demonstration activities. Working closely with the Chief Garage Technician, Chief Mechanic, Head of Operations, drivers, and key stakeholders, you will act as a central point of contact for event logistics and team coordination. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring exceptional organisation, clear communication, and the ability to make confident decisions in a fast-paced motorsport environment, with travel required to support events in the UK and internationally.
What you'll do
- Coordinate all event travel arrangements for the core F1 Evolution team and technical partners, including flights, accommodation, transfers, hire cars, and visas where required.
- Create and distribute event itineraries, team schedules, and travel information, ensuring colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders are fully informed.
- Liaise directly with drivers and driver managers to coordinate event requirements, including DIL SIM sessions.
- Work closely with the Chief Garage Technician, Chief Mechanic, and Head of Operations to coordinate event logistics, circuit bookings, contracts, payments, catering, and resources.
- Raise purchase orders, process invoices, manage consumables, tools, and garage equipment orders, and coordinate goods receipting and payment requests with Accounts.
- Support car-related logistics before and during events, including fuel management, tyre coordination, garage set-up, car running, and garage pack-down.
- Act as a key point of contact during events, helping coordinate team activities, maintain schedules, and ensure tasks are completed safely and on time.
- Liaise with the FIA regarding event categorisation and submission of team intent.
- Organise, attend, and minute team meetings as required, contributing to discussions and departmental decision-making.
- Maintain accurate team calendars and shared files in line with the event strategy and operational requirements.
- Support the ongoing development of F1 Evolution and its heritage car activities.
