ICT Customer Support & Resources Manager

The postholder will manage the team which provides and supports the ICT resources used by all Council staff and elected member and will manage the helpdesk management system and organise and oversee the team providing support to the users. The postholder will ensure users on the network have access to and are equipped to use appropriate ICT hardware and software. The postholder will manage the deployment and issuing of new end user equipment and resources, and the recovery and safe disposal of old, unused, or redundant equipment.

The postholder will be the lead point of contact for staff to discuss developing and improving the use of technology in the organisation and will work within the ICT team to create solutions to drive business and service improvement.
