THE ROLE

The Assistant Footwear Designer provides support to the Senior Menswear Footwear Designer in the development of new products and the enhancement of existing ones. This role is focused on assisting with the design process, ensuring timelines are met, and that products align with the brand's design, quality, and sustainability standards.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

u25cf Assist in the organisation of the day-to-day design processes
u25cf Support the development of design concepts under the guidance of the Senior designer
u25cf Assist the Senior Menswear Designer with the preparation of design documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all information (e.g. design details, tech packs, spec sheets)
u25cf Assist with the Coordination of samples, ensuring they are prepared for presentations
u25cf Assist in the preparation of presentations, including research and sketch decks
u25cf Support the Senior Designer with colour up CADs
u25cf Collaborate with the wider design team to share inspiration ideas and developments
u25cf Support with general design tasks when required, such as dressing models, assisting on shoots, organising samples and any ad-hoc tasks as required
u25cf Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical sourcing practices

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

u25cf Entry-level experience or internship in a design-related field (e.g., fashion, apparel, textile)
u25cf Basic understanding of the design process, from concept to production
u25cf Good organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
u25cf Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with all product teams
u25cf Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external suppliers
u25cf Basic technical knowledge of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
u25cf Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
u25cf Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
u25cf Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to supporting the Senior Designer and the wider design team
u25cf Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic AllSaints environment

ABOUT THE LOCATION
