A day in the life of...

As a Seasonal Food and Beverage Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our Christmas celebrations, helping us create a warm, welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.

You'll support our Christmas functions from start to finish, including setting up event spaces, welcoming and interacting with guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, supporting our function bars, processing payments and clearing down event rooms and bars after each function.

Throughout your shift, you'll work closely with the wider team to keep everything running smoothly. You'll help maintain clean and organised dining and event areas, restock supplies and assist with food preparation where needed, while working flexibly to support colleagues across the hotel.

Whether you're serving a festive meal, helping behind the bar or preparing a room for the next Christmas celebration, you'll play an important part in ensuring our guests enjoy a festive, first-class experience and leave with magical memories.

Excellent customer service, teamwork and attention to detail are at the heart of this role, and you'll always work with Aimbridge's four pillars of Food and Beverage in mind: People, Product, Guest and Performance.

What do we need from you?

Food and Beverage experience isn't essential for this role. What matters most is your attitude, enthusiasm and passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.

To join our festive team, you'll need to:

  • Be 18 years or older, as the role includes bar service
  • Weekend availability throughout December is essential, as this is one of our busiest and most exciting times of the year. You'll need to be available to support our Christmas events and functions across December weekends.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Have strong communication skills and be confident engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Thrive in a fun, fast-paced and customer-focused environment
  • Work well as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to provide excellent service and flexibly supporting the wider hotel when needed
  • Have a great eye for detail and take pride in maintaining clean, organised and welcoming dining and event spaces
  • Be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating magical festive memories for our guests
  • Be flexible with your availability and able to work varying shifts throughout the festive period
