Customer Contact Advisor - make every conversation count

Want a role where the everyday conversations you have can make a real difference? We're looking for caring, practical and motivated Customer Contact Advisors to join our team.

You don't need contact centre experience to apply. If you enjoy helping people, listen well and bring a positive attitude, we'll give you the training and support you need to grow in the role.

What you'll bring

  • You care about giving customers a helpful, respectful service and are willing to go the extra mile.
  • You enjoy a challenge and take pride in doing a good job.
  • You can understand a problem and work towards the right solution.
  • You collaborate well and value being part of a team.
  • You're open to change and look for ways to improve how things are done.
  • You're comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
  • You can stay calm and professional when conversations are challenging.

What you'll do

You'll be at the heart of our customer service team, supporting customers by phone, webchat and email in a busy environment. You'll listen, understand what each person needs and help move their enquiry forward with empathy, confidence and a calm approach.

Every conversation matters. You'll take ownership where you can, find practical solutions and help create a positive experience for our customers, supported by a professional team that works together and keeps learning.

Working hours

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. On Thursdays, the service stays open until 7.00pm, with the later finish shared fairly on a rota. There's no weekend working and no bank holiday shifts.

Who we are

Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage more than 58,000 homes and various community assets, serving around 113,000 customers across the South of England.

We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive. What does that look like in real terms?

We're investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.

  • We're delivering 10,000 homes by 2030, ensuring affordable housing is built where it's needed most
  • We're investing in our communities, to address local issues and create opportunities for everyone

As we grow, we're re-establishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service. Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with their local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
