Help us keep homes safe, warm and thriving

At Abri, we're not just maintaining homes, we're helping people feel safe, secure and proud of where they live.

We're looking for two experienced Gas Engineers to join our team, delivering high-quality servicing, repairs and installations across our communities. Every day, you'll use your skills to keep customers safe, solve problems, and make a genuine difference in people's lives.

Whether you're carrying out a landlord safety check, diagnosing a fault, or restoring heating and hot water to a family home, you'll be someone our customers can rely on when it matters most.

The difference you'll make

Home is more than four walls. It's where people should feel safe, warm and secure.

As one of our Gas Engineers, you'll help make that happen. You'll use your expertise to keep homes running smoothly, solve problems when they arise, and give customers confidence that they're in safe hands. Whether you're completing a safety check, carrying out a repair, or restoring heating and hot water, the work you do will have a direct impact on customers' everyday lives.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help us deliver safe, high-quality services while sharing your knowledge, learning from others, and continuing to develop your own skills.

What you'll have

You'll be a qualified Gas Engineer with a passion for delivering excellent workmanship and outstanding customer service. You'll take pride in doing the job right first time, communicating clearly with customers, and working safely at all times.

As you'll be travelling across our communities and taking part in our out-of-hours callout rota, a full UK driving licence is essential.

We'll give you the tools to thrive

We want you to focus on what you do best, so we'll make sure you have the equipment and support you need from day one.

You'll receive:

  • A company van fitted with a van vault, racking and inverter
  • Fuel card
  • Company tablet and mobile phone
  • Full uniform and PPE
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • The support of a knowledgeable, collaborative team

You'll be expected to provide your own hand and power tools, and you'll take part in an out-of-hours callout rota to help us support customers when they need us most.

Why join Abri?

At Abri, you'll be part of an organisation with a clear purpose: creating communities and empowering lives.

We invest in our people, value their expertise, and give them the support they need to do their best work. In return, you'll enjoy a rewarding career where every day brings the opportunity to help customers and improve homes across our communities.

Most importantly, you'll join a team that cares. About our customers, about each other, and about making a lasting difference.

If you're a Gas Engineer who takes pride in delivering excellent work, putting customers first, and making a real difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.

Who we are

Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage more than 58,000 homes and various community assets, serving around 113,000 customers across the South of England.

We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive. What does that look like in real terms?

We're investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.

  • We're delivering 10,000 homes by 2030, ensuring affordable housing is built where it's needed most
  • We're investing in our communities, to address local issues and create opportunities for everyone

As we grow, we're re-establishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service. Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with their local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
