The role

At Yeo Valley, we're about more than just making great food – we're here to Nurture & Nourish People & Planet by Making Great Food the Right Way. Forever. As a co-owned business, we invest in our people, encourage growth, and believe in doing things properly. We manufacture over 25% of the UKs packaged yoghurt, created with passion and a stellar reputation. We aim to be a successful, visionary and purposeful food and farming business powered by people who feel inspired by our purpose and valued as co-owners.

We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded Senior Brand Product Lead to lead our Natural Wellness strategic territory where you will shape the future growth agenda for one of Yeo Valley Organic's most important strategic territories, identifying where the brand should play next and turning consumer-led opportunities into scalable growth platforms. You'll combine deep consumer understanding, category insight and innovation expertise to build a 3-5 year growth roadmap, unlocking new opportunities across core expansion, adjacent categories and future growth platforms. You'll also lead and develop a Brand Product Lead, helping strengthen strategic capability across the team.

What you'll do

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll own the long-term growth strategy for the Natural Wellness territory, identifying the consumer needs, category opportunities and innovation platforms that will drive future growth for Yeo Valley Organic. Working cross-functionally, you'll translate insight into actionable plans and lead the development of compelling propositions from opportunity identification through to launch.
  • Build and lead a multi-year strategic territory roadmap focused on Natural Wellness and future growth opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate and prioritise white space opportunities, growth platforms and portfolio expansion opportunities.
  • Lead insight-led innovation projects through the stage gate process from concept development to market launch.
  • Translate validated consumer opportunities into compelling propositions and range concepts.
  • Develop clear briefs for research, product development, pack design and communications teams.
  • Define range architecture, portfolio fit and product hierarchy recommendations.
  • Lead the development of distinctive positioning and pack messaging frameworks that clearly communicate consumer benefits.
  • Partner with Brand & Comms to bring strategic territories to life and build brand equity.
  • Work with Sales, Category and Shopper teams to create compelling retailer sell-in stories and launch rationale.
  • Monitor innovation performance and recommend actions to maximise success and commercial return.
  • Build business cases and support investment recommendations through governance forums.
  • Coach and develop a Brand Product Lead, ensuring strong connection between long-term strategy and innovation delivery.

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

  • A strong track record working on FMCG brands within the UK grocery sector or relevant food categories.
  • Extensive experience launching insight-led innovation and successfully bringing new products to market.
  • Proven success driving brand growth across multiple categories.
  • Strong experience in product management, portfolio strategy and long-term planning.
  • Advanced capability using retailer EPOS data, panel data and retailer insight platforms to generate actionable recommendations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance consumer, commercial and operational priorities.
  • Experience commissioning consumer research and developing high-quality agency briefs.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capability, with experience developing others.
  • A naturally curious mindset with a passion for innovation, growth and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to turn complex data and information into clear strategic direction and business action.

Interested in joining the team? Apply your strategic thinking, innovation expertise and commercial leadership to shape the future growth agenda for Yeo Valley Organic, unlocking new opportunities and building the platforms that will drive the brand's success for years to come.
