home to Deliveroo's Number 1 Dish in 2025, we're growing fast and we're
only getting started.
Our mission? BRING THE FLAVOUR.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a commercially minded Commercial
Finance Business Partner to help shape how we grow, invest and make
decisions across Wingstop UK & Ireland.
This isn't just about producing reports and updating
spreadsheets. It's about getting under the skin of our performance,
understanding what drives our sales and profitability, and turning data into
decisions that make a real difference.
You'll partner with teams across Finance, Operations, Growth
and Marketing, supporting everything from budgeting and forecasting to campaign
evaluation and test-and-learn activity. You'll help us understand what works,
what doesn't and where the biggest opportunities lie, making sure our
commercial decisions are backed by insight, not guesswork.
If you're naturally curious, love joining the dots between
numbers and real-world performance, and want to build your commercial influence
in a fast-paced, growing brand, this is your chance to make an impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own
the numbers: Lead sales budgeting and forecasting, working closely
with Finance, Operations, Growth and Marketing to build a clear picture of
performance and what's coming next.
- Turn
data into decisions: Deliver insightful reporting, analysis and
recommendations that help stakeholders understand performance, spot
opportunities and take action.
- Make
testing count: Support the design and evaluation of multi-site and
customer tests, helping teams define success measures, interpret results
and apply learnings to future decisions.
- Understand
what drives growth: Assess promotional and campaign performance,
including sales uplift, cannibalisation, margin impact and ROI, to
identify what delivers profitable growth.
- Get
under the skin of performance: Analyse sales, customer behaviour,
channel mix, delivery, campaigns and site-level results to uncover trends,
risks and opportunities.
- Partner
across the business: Work with Marketing, Operations and external
partners to challenge assumptions, evaluate investment and align
commercial activity with profitability targets.
- Keep
learning and improving: Bring fresh thinking to how we analyse
performance, approach experimentation and use data to make better
commercial decisions.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical
capability with commercial curiosity. You don't just want to know what
happened; you want to understand why, what it means and what we should do next.
You'll bring:
- A
curious, analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail, with a
genuine interest in what drives commercial performance.
- The
ability to work with large datasets, make sense of complex information and
turn it into clear, actionable insight.
- Commercial
judgement, balancing customer response, sales growth, profitability and
long-term brand value.
- Confidence
communicating findings and challenging constructively with stakeholders
outside Finance.
- A
collaborative approach, with the ability to bring people together around
evidence, testing and better decision-making.
- An
interest in customer behaviour, market trends and the wider factors
influencing business performance.
- A
desire to keep developing your skills and broaden your commercial exposure
in a high-growth, cross-functional environment.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- A
recognised finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), or a
background in marketing econometrics.
- Experience
in finance, commercial analysis, insight, FP&A or a similar analytical
role, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance
measurement.
- Experience
evaluating test-and-learn activity, with the confidence to draw sensible
conclusions when control groups, sample sizes or testing conditions aren't
perfect.
- Strong
Excel skills, including working with large datasets, maintaining models
and updating dashboards.
- The
ability to analyse sales, operational and commercial performance and
present clear findings to non-finance stakeholders using PowerPoint.
- Experience
in a multi-site QSR, food service or consumer retail business.
Desirable
- Experience
working with customer, transaction, channel, digital or delivery-partner
data.
- Familiarity
with Power BI, Tableau or other data visualisation tools, or the appetite
to develop these skills.
- An
interest in emerging analytical techniques, including testing and
evaluating AI models.
What You'll Get
- Up
to £65,000 salary, depending on experience.
- 20%
annual bonus, with stretch opportunity, plus eligibility for our LTIP
programme from your first year.
- 25
days' annual leave, plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
- Enhanced
sick pay and family-friendly leave.
- Private
healthcare and a 3% employer pension contribution.
- Company
laptop and phone.
- Business
mileage allowance.
- 20-50%
employee dining discount.
- Access
to our benefits platform, with lifestyle savings, recognition and
wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Programme.
