Production Operative

The Role
The successful candidate will be working as part of the production team to ensure optimum production
targets, minimum waste and the output to meet or exceed budget figures whilst achieving the consistent
quality standards. You will ensure safe working at all times, with a right first time, every time by everyone
attitude to produce a cost effective, quality product. You will carry out production tasks as requested by
the line manager, at the required pace with attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities:
• The role will require carrying out all factory operations at different times
• Follow all Standard Operating procedures (SOP'S) and assist in reviewing these when required
• Hand finishing product to a high quality at reasonable speed
• Ensure that your working area is kept clean and free from obstruction and waste by maintaining a
good standard of housekeeping
• Hand sorting fired product to correct standard & hand setting unfired product
• Maintain a positive working atmosphere, by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes
cooperation with colleagues and perform any other duties as required.
