What you'll do
- Lead and inspire a high-performing logistics team, providing coaching, mentoring and development while creating a positive, collaborative culture that delivers exceptional operational results.
- Drive day-to-day logistics excellence across goods-in, warehousing, materials handling, packing and distribution, ensuring workflows run safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Champion continuous improvement, using Lean principles, 6S and problem-solving techniques to enhance performance, reduce waste and support business growth.
- Take ownership of people leadership and compliance, including absence management, return-to-work discussions, recruitment support, performance management, health & safety, quality and ISO standards.
- Build strong relationships across the business, working closely with colleagues, customers and stakeholders to achieve operational targets, maintain inventory accuracy and deliver a reliable, cost-effective logistics service.
