The role
Bearward Engineering is a Northampton based firm manufacturing radiators for the power generation industry.
What you'll do
As a member of the Sectional Core/Core Plant Fins department team, working on the 22:00-06:00 shift (38 hours/week) Sunday to Thursday, you will be responsible for working in a manual environment, the role is to process cores (radiators) through the manufacturing production line, efficient running of machines, general setting and maintenance of machines, assembling components, using hand tools, checking quality of the product during the process. PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls, gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant).
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
How you'll work
A manual environment, lifting heavy equipment with magnetic hoists and chain/strap hoists.
