We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially focused Used Car Sales Manager to join our team at Vertu Waltham Cross. We are offering a basic salary of £45,000 OTE £70,000 plus company car.

This is not a sit-back management role. We are looking for someone who loves the deal, thrives in a fast-paced dealership and knows how to step in, support the sales process and get business over the line.

You could already be an experienced Sales Manager, or you may be an exceptional top-performing Sales Executive consistently delivering strong used car results and ready to take your first step into management.

The Role

As Used Car Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the performance of our used car operation.

You will work closely with the sales team throughout the customer journey, supporting first and second facing, overcoming objections and, most importantly, closing deals. This is a high-energy environment, so you will need to be comfortable working at pace, making decisions quickly and keeping the team focused on performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving used car sales, profitability and departmental performance
• Supporting Sales Executives with negotiations and closing deals
• Remaining highly visible and hands-on across the showroom
• Coaching the team to maximise every sales opportunity
• Managing used vehicle stock, pricing, presentation and turnaround
• Maximising finance, insurance and additional product opportunities
• Monitoring individual and team performance
• Delivering an excellent customer experience while maintaining strong compliance standards

About You

You don't need years of management experience to succeed in this role. What matters most is your track record, attitude and potential.

We are looking for someone who is:

• A proven high performer within automotive sales, ideally with strong used car experience
• Driven, hungry and motivated by results
• Comfortable working at pace in a busy dealership
• Passionate about delivering a great customer experience
• A full UK driving licence holder
