Fire & Security Installation Engineer - Contract Location: North East - Newcastle, Durham, Teesside & Surrounding Areas
Rate: £250-£275 per day

V7 Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineers for a 6-month contract covering Newcastle, Durham, Teesside and the surrounding North East region.

Working with an established national fire and security specialist, engineers will be responsible for installing, commissioning and testing fire alarm and electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Contract Details

• £250-£275 per day, depending on experience
• 6-month contract
• Work across the North East
• Installation and commissioning projects
• Immediate starts available

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems
• CCTV, access control and intruder alarm installations
• Disabled refuge and public address systems
• Cable installation and associated network infrastructure
• Testing, fault finding and remedial works
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
• Completing commissioning and handover documentation

Experience Required

• Previous Fire & Security installation experience
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems
• Experience with installation, testing and commissioning
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of relevant British Standards
• Full UK driving licence
