The post holder is also expected to contribute when needed to other activities of the Bioinformatics team.

The post requires proficiency in programming, bioinformatics tools, and database management. Collaborative and detail-oriented approach essential. The postholder will ideally have experience in bioinformatics, computational genomics, software development, rare or complex disorder genetics and have a keen interest in translational research.

About you

Ideally, you will have:

  • Good all-round informatics skills in LINUX/UNIX, HPC, data management, scripting (python, R, Bash) and version control (Git)
  • Experience of team or project management, including initiative and delivery
