Yes, that's right, we have a Costa Cafe with one free coffee each week for every member of staff.
Northampton Academy are seeking to appoint a Senior Facilities Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Facilities Assistant who wants to develop their career in facilities management. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing essential support in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will undertake a range of general maintenance tasks across the Academy, support the setup and breakdown of school events, and play a key role in ensuring our facilities are maintained to a high standard.
We are seeking a practical, proactive individual with experience in a hands-on maintenance or facilities role. Experience in electrical, plumbing, gas or carpentry work would be advantageous, although not essential. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and are flexible in your approach, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering the chance to develop your skills within a supportive and professional environment with future opportunities to progress into a management role.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Work effectively as part of a flexible, enthusiastic and hardworking team.
- Have the stamina, energy and resilience required for a busy and physically demanding role.
- Be committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety and site presentation.
- Take pride in providing a safe, secure and well-maintained environment for the whole school community.
In return, we offer:
- Full Health and Safety training.
- Uniform provided.
- A supportive team environment.
- Training, development and career progression.
