Requirements
What we're looking for
- Proficiency in languages :: Python, and/or C#.
- Knowledge of software design patterns.
- Experience with web-based geometry visualisation :: Three.js or similar.
- Experience with typical AEC software and APIs :: Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, FEA Software, etc.
Education & certifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Software Development, Computer Science, Game Development, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in software development within a professional environment.
- Practical experience working with Agentic AI systems, such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar AI-powered development tools.

The role
Tyréns AKT has an in-house Software Development Team - comprised of software developers and computational designers - that creates bespoke software tools to support the company's many specialisms: structural engineering, façade design, geotechnical design, bioclimatic analysis, and so on. We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing team! LI-Hybrid
The role and responsibilities.
As a Software Engineer your responsibilities could include, but will not be limited to, the following:
What you'll do
- Designing and maintaining web-based and client-based software tools.
- Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, set priorities and shape roadmaps for tools.
- Automating build, testing and deployment of code using CI/CD pipelines.
- Using agentic AI tools to accelerate development, while applying best practice for code reviews, testing, security and responsible use.
