The role
Senior Project Manager - Risk & Regulatory Change (SS5/25)
£500-550/day | Outside IR35 | 6-Month Initial Contract
We're supporting a large regulated organisation delivering a strategic risk transformation programme focused on embedding SS5/25 requirements and climate-related risk management practices across the business.
The programme is already mobilised, with governance, steering groups and action plans in place. The successful Project Manager will take ownership of delivery, ensuring regulatory commitments are translated into structured plans, clear accountability and measurable outcomes.
What you'll do
- Experienced Project Manager with a strong background in risk programmes.
- Embed SS5/25 requirements into existing risk management frameworks and business processes.
- Manage programme plans, governance, resource planning and executive reporting.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Change and wider business functions.
- Track risks, dependencies and actions, ensuring delivery remains on schedule.
What We're Looking For
- Experienced Project Manager with a strong background in risk, regulatory or transformation programmes.
- Proven ability to drive delivery in complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong governance, planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within Financial Services, Insurance or another regulated environment.
- Must have worked in PRA-driven programmes. Experience with climate risk initiatives would be advantageous.
This role would suit a pragmatic, delivery-focused contractor who can quickly establish control, challenge stakeholders where needed, and turn strategy into execution.
Hybrid working with weekly attendance in Milton Keynes.
6-month initial contract with strong extension potential.
