Ready for your next challenge? We're looking for a motivated Hire Fitter / Driver to join BSS, a nationwide leader in commercial heating, ventilation, pipeline, and mechanical services, and part of the Travis Perkins Group.

Our working hours also offer a great work life balance, most of our customers choose to enjoy their weekends and bank holidays which means you can too!

Working hours: Monday to Friday, typically 07:30 - 17:00 Most importantly, no weekend working!

What you'll be doing

In this varied role, you'll ensure all hire equipment is tested, repaired, safe, and ready for customers. You'll support the Hire Manager with day‑to‑day operations, deliver and collect equipment, and build strong customer relationships by offering knowledgeable, solution‑focused advice. Safety and compliance will be central to everything you do.

What we're looking for

Ideally, you'll have multi‑drop driving experience and some tool service knowledge, but we're equally interested in transferable skills such as great customer service and sales ability. A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
