The role

Have you spent the last 12-18 months mastering the basics of retail buying administration? If you're looking for real ownership, direct exposure to strategy, and a clear path toward becoming an Assistant Buyer, this is your next move.

We're looking for an ambitious Buyers Assistant to join our team in Wimbledon. You won't just be inputting data-you'll serve as one of the operational engines behind our product categories, working side-by-side with our Buyers to drive commercial performance.

What you'll do

  • Strategic Exposure: Move beyond basic admin by assisting directly with range planning, promotional planograms, and supplier calendars.
  • Commercial Sharpness: Build your analytical toolkit through price benchmarking, discrepancy investigations, and margin-impacting data management.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Take full accountability for sample tracking, supplier chasing, SKU creation, and web setups-getting products from concept to customer seamlessly.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate daily with Trade Admin, Marketing, and Space Planning, positioning yourself as a key player in cross-departmental projects.

Why Make the Move to Robert Dyas?

  • Growth & Culture: Structured learning pathways, mentoring from experienced Buyers, regular sample sales, wellness initiatives, and active social committees.
