Skills
Nice to have
The role
The Twenty Two is a private members club and hotel with properties in Mayfair, London and Gramercy Park, New York, known for discreet, personalised and design-led hospitality. We are looking for an accomplished, highly connected and commercially driven Global Head of Sales to lead rooms sales across both properties: a senior leader with a genuine appetite for selling, who is visible in the market and comfortable being personally accountable for production.
The role
Reporting to the Global Commercial Director, and working closely with the General Managers and Revenue Management, you will develop and execute the global rooms sales strategy for The Twenty Two New York and The Twenty Two London. Your focus will be on driving qualified room revenue, growing market share and building sustainable production across luxury leisure, entertainment, fashion, corporate, consortia, membership and retail segments. This is a hands-on role, combining strategic leadership with direct ownership of key accounts and relationships.
What you will do
You will drive room revenue growth across priority segments, with a particular focus on high-rated leisure and group business, and shape a stronger business mix with higher ADR and less reliance on lower-rated channels. Partnering with Revenue Management, you will deploy sales activity around pace, pickup, compression periods and need dates, and you will support the 2027 Corporate RFP season for New York.
In New York, your first six months will centre on re-establishing a highly visible presence for the property across the travel industry, group and corporate marketplace. You will build deep relationships across the city's luxury leisure, entertainment, fashion, media, technology and creative sectors, with travel advisors, TMCs, entertainment travel managers, executive assistants, family offices and corporate travel buyers. You will grow production from key US feeder markets, including Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Boston and Washington, D.C., and use the New York platform to generate business for London.
In London, you will drive luxury leisure and group business, building a sales plan that lifts enquiry levels and focuses on high ADR channels. The role includes quarterly sales trips to London, beginning with a brand immersion.
You will lead, coach and develop the rooms sales function across both properties, establish a disciplined sales cadence, and build a collaborative global sales culture with clear accountability at property and individual level. You will also contribute to the annual commercial strategy and rooms budgeting, and work with Marketing, PR, Membership and Operations on sales-led activations.
About you
You are an experienced luxury hotel sales leader with an established network across leisure, entertainment, fashion and corporate travel, ideally in New York, London, or both. You combine strategic thinking with a track record of personally driving revenue, and you measure success by results rather than activity. You understand revenue management, ADR strategy and the luxury competitive landscape, and you know how to build and develop high-performing sales teams. You are a natural relationship builder who thrives on being out in the market.
