About the team and what we do

The first stage in the fitness to practise process is called Screening. This is where we look at the concern someone's raised with us in more detail and decide on the next steps.

Your role and impact:

Our Screening Decision Makers decide whether a concern raised with us suggests a risk that could require us to take action.

This is an important role for one of the UK's largest regulators.

What you'll do

You'll work collaboratively within a large team of Screening Decision Makers. You will also support colleagues across the wider Screening team to achieve the delivery of a high quality and efficient screening function.

You will make high quality Screening decisions and will produce reasons for your decisions that explain to different external stakeholders how you've come to your decision. You will apply our guidance to the evidence of the case and the concerns raised in order to reach the right decision fairly and quickly.
