We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse to join our Stem Cell Transplant Unit at The London Clinic.
If you are an experienced haematology or stem cell transplant nurse who enjoys sharing your knowledge and supporting colleagues, this is an opportunity to develop your leadership skills while remaining closely involved in patient care.
You will bring clinical expertise, reassurance and guidance to patients, families and colleagues, helping our team deliver safe, compassionate care throughout a complex treatment journey.
We care for patients with complex haematological conditions, including those undergoing stem cell transplantation. We work closely with our consultant haematologists and wider multidisciplinary team to provide care that recognises each patient's individual needs and the people supporting them.
As a Sister / Charge Nurse, you will support the Ward Manager with the daily running of the unit, coordinate shifts and provide clinical guidance to colleagues. You will balance your own patient care responsibilities with supporting the team, helping colleagues make decisions and responding to changing clinical priorities.
You will also contribute to staff development and service improvements, using your experience to strengthen practice and help others grow in confidence.
Our Stem Cell Transplant Unit is based within the Duchess of Devonshire Wing, our dedicated cancer centre at The London Clinic. You will work alongside specialist nursing colleagues, consultant haematologists and the wider multidisciplinary team, supporting patients through transplantation and recovery.
You will join a team where sharing knowledge and supporting one another are central to how we work. Your experience will be valued, and you will have opportunities to contribute ideas, guide colleagues and help shape the care we provide.
Working alongside your Ward Manager, you will have support as you develop your leadership responsibilities, alongside opportunities to strengthen your specialist clinical knowledge.
