The role
Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented LCV Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
What will you be doing?
- Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes for transportation of welfare vans
- Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey
- Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
- Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of driving license category B – with no more than 6 points
- Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers
- A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Good communication skills
- Geographical knowledge and LCV experience
- Ability to use IT systems (desirable)
