A confidential organisation with a European real estate portfolio is seeking an ACA-qualified Interim Statutory Accountant to support statutory reporting and audit activities during a period of finance transformation.
Candidates must be available to start immediately.

This role requires an immediate start and will best suit a hands-on accountant who can quickly take ownership of the statutory reporting and audit process from day one.
6-Month Contract | £70k-£75k | London (1 Day a Week)
A confidential organisation with a European real estate portfolio is seeking an ACA-qualified Interim Statutory Accountant to support statutory reporting and audit activities during a period of finance transformation.
Candidates must be available to start immediately.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102
- Update balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Coordinate audit deliverables and work directly with external auditors
- Manage audit queries and support audit completion across a UK entity and five European branches
- Provide occasional ad hoc finance support
Requirements:
- ACA qualified with external audit training
- 2+ years' industry experience in Financial Accounting or Financial Reporting
- Strong statutory accounts and audit management experience
- Confident discussing accounting treatments and audit adjustments
- Experience with European entities and/or real estate is advantageous
- Immediately available is essential
Package & Location:
- Initial 6-month engagement
- £70,000-£75,000 salary equivalent
- Day-rate contractors considered (Inside IR35)
- Predominantly remote, with occasional visits to a central London office near London Bridge
