The role

Stairlift Installation Trainee at Glasgow Stannah– Sales and Installations - Join Our Team!

Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a Stairlift Installation Trainee to join the Operations department based in Glasgow.

This job will involve assisting the lead Installation Engineer with the safe and efficient installation and removal of stairlifts within customers’ homes, ensuring all work meets manufacturer, customer, and company standards.

As the Stairlift Installation Trainee you will work Monday to Thursday 8:00- 16:45 Friday 8:00 - 15:45

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a technical role and develop skills within a growing and rewarding industry.

To be successful as the Stairlift Installation Trainee, it is essential that you have previous experience in using basic hand tools and an understanding of health and safety practices. Experience in mechanical and electrical work would be highly desirable.

What you'll do

Assisting with installing and removing stairlifts in customers’ homes
Loading, unloading, and transporting equipment from the depot to site
Supporting the lead engineer to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
Completing administrative tasks including electronic forms, emails, and timesheets
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and customer care at all times
