Staffworx are hiring for an experienced NoSQL DBA (ideally Couchbase) NoSQL Database Consultant working with leading enterprise client on latest enterprise software platform.

• Commercial experience as NoSQL DBA (ideally Couchbase, alternatively MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, MarkLogic, RavenDB, Redis, IBM Cloudant etc)
• Production & Development environments experience
• Logical and physical database architecture
• Automation, virtualisation/containerisation technologies such as VMware, Docker, Kubernetes
• NoSQL DB Performance Tuning
• AWS or Azure experience is a plus
• NoSQL XDCR replication
• Kafka, Elastic Search, Java or Scala beneficial
• Good SQL, N1QL, SQL++, JSON
• multi-dimensional scaling, caching, indexing
• OLTP, DWH experience such us AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, Couchbase, MongoDB or Cassandra

• remote contract, 1-2 site visits per month, outside IR35
