Data Engineer, Cloud DevOps Engineer (DevOps, Data Engineering, Python, Java, Google Cloud) - remote, inside IR35

Cloud Engineer with strong development background, role is a mix of DevOps and Data Engineering, 4-month initial contract to work on a project at a leading digital bank.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of Java (Spring) & Python
• Knowledge on Cloud platforms is a must ideally GCP
• Kubernetes (GKE)
• Strong CI/CD DevOps understanding
• Experience in Data Engineering

Tech Stack

• Python
• Java (for BDDs)
• Data build tool
• Google BigQuery
• Google Cloud Spanner
• Kubernetes (GKE)
• Argo workflow (workflow engine for Kubernetes)
• CI/CD Jenkins, Terraform, Spinnaker

Remote working until at least Jan 2021. Contract will fall within scope of IR35, so umbrella company will need to be engaged.
