As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will be supported by a structured development programme designed to help you become a RICS Chartered professional.

Why join Stace

We invest in our graduates from the start, offering structured development, varied project experience and the support to grow your career. At Stace you will benefit from:

  • A two-year structured graduate development programme alongside a cohort of peers, supporting your path to RICS Chartership.

  • The opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from landmark buildings to exciting local developments.

  • Mentorship from industry leaders and exposure to a wide range of clients.

  • A responsible business strategy that values sustainability, ethical practice, giving back and the wellbeing of our people.

  • A Giving Back Day, giving you dedicated time to volunteer in your community.

Many of our Partners began their careers at Stace as graduates and trainees and have progressed to lead the business. You could follow the same path.

What you will do

  • Prepare reports on existing buildings and produce schedules of works and specifications.

  • Prepare and amend computer-aided design (CAD) drawings.

  • Write reports and meeting minutes, and communicate with other professionals across the construction and property industry.

  • Assist with Party Wall matters.

  • Inspect and monitor construction work and produce progress reports.

  • Support contract administration and the employer's agent role.

  • Assist in preparing schedules of condition, dilapidations and landlord and tenant instructions.

  • Take part in CSR activities, careers fairs and work experience initiatives.

  • Provide support to Partners and leadership across the business.

Who you are

  • Curious, motivated and eager to explore all aspects of construction and property consultancy.

  • Committed to learning, taking ownership and delivering high-quality work.

  • Interested in sustainability, ethical practice and supporting the wellbeing of colleagues and communities.

  • Ideally, you will have a relevant degree. However, we welcome applicants from any discipline who are open to completing a RICS-accredited conversion degree alongside work.
