The role
We're looking for a proactive, technically aware Senior Product Analyst to support one or both of Thermal IT's Operational Technology (OT) value streams: OT Security and OT Private Networks.
This is a hybrid product analysis and delivery role. Alongside leading requirements, process and product analysis, you will help the Product Owner and technical team turn priorities into realistic delivery plans, maintain delivery momentum, manage dependencies and risks, and provide clear visibility of progress.
You will take a practical, outcome-focused approach, supporting work from initial demand and analysis through planning, testing, implementation and transition into operation. You will be comfortable working across OT, cyber security, engineering, suppliers, procurement and internal governance in a regulated and asset-intensive environment.
The balance of responsibility across the two value streams will be agreed according to business priority, delivery demand and team capacity. You will help establish consistent analysis and delivery practices while recognising the different products, stakeholders and operational contexts of each value stream
What you'll do
- Lead the analysis, validation and management of business, operational and technical requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear epics, features, user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain product and service roadmaps aligned with business outcomes, regulatory commitments, operational priorities and technical lifecycle requirements.
- Analyse current and future-state processes, identifying opportunities to improve control, efficiency, service resilience and user experience while maintaining end-to-end traceability.
- Translate priorities into realistic delivery plans and a healthy Azure DevOps backlog, facilitating Agile delivery activities and actively managing risks, dependencies, issues and impediments.
- Support testing, implementation and transition into service, while developing sufficient OT knowledge to contribute to lifecycle decisions, CAF evidence, NIS risk assessments and security compliance.
